A Photo of Friends

I recently found the last two sketches of my friends and I from 1988 or so.  Of course the sketches transformed them into comic characters!

Fun stuff!
All the drawings are on 14 x 17 sketch paper.
I even started a painting back then based on this photo, but got frustrated and painted it over with something else.
I just found the scan of the old photograph of the painting I painted over!

A crazy, big (9 x 12) drawing with ink.  I was in a mode to do "Blind" drawings and then add to them.
That is why Dinky Doo looks odd... I drew him with my eyes closed.

Stinky Poo

This is a Never published/released comic I did almost 25 years ago.
The deal here is, I am left-handed and have been very used to PUSHing the pen when drawing,  [I rarely used a "crow-quill" pen]  So, I had no real problems when using ballpoints or felt-tips etc.
But with a sharp point "dip" style pen tip, I was spitting and splatting all over the place.

So I decided to create Stinky Poo (an alternate to DinkyDoo)  and make stupid comics using my left-handed dibilitation.

It's The Larry The Leper Show!

Totem Bronze

One of my earlier bronze welded sculptures. It is about 9" tall and probably weighs 10 lbs because it is solid bronze.

Scraps from the Fine Art Bronze Foundry (Tallix) welded together.

I think it is at my parents place on Long Island.
