Odd Man Out

I just went for it with the black ink on the Kraft colored card stock, then used white ink markers and color pencils.! 
Trying to be recognizably human, alternating with warped abstraction.
I think it worked quite well!
Nothing deep, just an exercise in weirdness.

This was done quickly and with 3-4 different sized pens.
I kind of want to add color, but I really like the rawness it has.

Thinking about my old friend who passed away almost 5 years ago.

at a certain point, early on while drawing this, I knew it was of him.  The rest just came to me. 
I still don't know if it means anything.
I still miss him.

This may be a mistaken repost but oh well.  A quick study, smaller than standard sheet of paper, pure confidence in line and a blank mind, letting each line dictate next line in an unconscious way.

Drama Brew

Created in the past few days.  Been dealing with some back pain and serious financial issues, but still have to make art:
It is 4 x 6 on gray, acid-free card stock with black and white archival ink markers and graphite pencil.
