This 16 pager was all my art except one page by my pal Ralph M. and a drawing by Dave Herman on the inside cover contents page (he also inspired 2 of the 3 Dinky Doo: Finisher pages.
I will post the other 2 pages of Dinky Doo: Finisher here soon.
The response to this comic inspired Tallix Funnies!

Bowl Man Cast Bronze
![]() |
| (c)1991 Ralf Schulze |
The bowl is about 2.25" diameter, but with the added "Hand"les, he is about 4.25" wide. He is only 2" tall. I created him originally in wax (not my favorite media - since i worked in the metal end of the bronze sculpture process) and he turned out fine! In the last pic you might see my name "RALF" on the back leg.
This is my only cast bronze sculpture! All my others are welded or brazed together by me.

"Bug Eye Guy" Welded Bronze Sculpture
![]() |
| (c)1988 Ralf Schulze |
Made this sculpture in 1988 from bronze casting scraps and an old Baush & Lomb eye testing machine part.
He's about 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 14 inches long.
His right "eye" is adjustable... it can rotate (see last three pics)
I just took these photographs today.
Another shot.

Mr.Suburbia 3D Model Solidworks
About 4 years ago when we started using Solidworks at my job, I played with it to create a Mr. Suburbia Head.
Took a few lunch hours to get it right.
I featured a video of it in a video back then.

Fine Old Drawing title: "20 X 20"
![]() |
| (c)1986 Ralf Schulze |
At the time (1986) I was starting to draw mini-comix and I was participating in a lot of Mail-Art also. And I came up with the idea of Tallix Funnies. It was a great way to make fun of your co-workers, bosses and the artists who were essentially the "customer" of the foundry. I did most of the first issue, but many talented people began contributing a lot of cool comics.
But I digress, I wanted to get all 10 + 1 issues of Tallix Funnies on-line. So I made a request on the Facebook page called Ex-Tallix employees for some help finding issues I no longer had.
Darren Lewis sent me a bunch of old issues along with the shown artwork of mine that I gave him all those many years ago. I don't know what 20 x 20 means... maybe 20 horizontal lines -by- 20 vertical lines....
So that was an odd and long-winded story to how I got back this old art of mine.
It is ink marker and color pencil on 9 x 12 cardstock white paper.
I like how I made the circles appear with out being explicit.

For Your Skull Interview 1989 part 2
Click on image to zoom in!
These were in "For Your Skull" zine #20! The zine was created by Carrie and Rob.
I had gotten some stuff into previous issues and they asked me to write up a 3 page interview.
It was Fun!

Anyway it is about 15 inches tall and probably weighs a good 20+ lbs. It is made of welded Bronze Foundry scraps that I welded together.
I do not know where it is right now.

Postcard invitation for a Show I had in Danbury CT
I had a show of most of my sculptures back in 1991 or so. It wasn't a solo, but it was a large space I shared with another artist who did mostly paintings. It was a private gallery that went out of business soon after.
