Thinking about my old friend who passed away almost 5 years ago.

at a certain point, early on while drawing this, I knew it was of him.  The rest just came to me. 
I still don't know if it means anything.
I still miss him.

This is ink and color pencil on small 5 x8 card stock.
It reminds me of birds a bit even though they don't look like birds.

I made this in 1989.
It is only about 10 inches tall.
It is welded bronze on a stainless steel base.
