Pivotal Piece

(c)2002 Ralf Schulze
This is a small (9" x 12") sketch painting in canvas board that actually means a lot to me.
After I moved from Richmond VA back up to NY State (basicly between Binghamton and Oneonta) bac in 2002, I had tons of room to  do art because actaul living space was much cheaper there.
I did this to just experiment with paint again  after many years and some of the experimental decisions were new to what I've done before.  I really like what happened to this.
However, the actual painting got moldy and right now looks like crap.
This is only a 8.5" x 11" scan of it.

Abstract Landscape Thing Again

(c)2003 Ralf Schulze
This one just flowed from me.  Blank mind, but confident. I wish I could do more that way!

It is again a favorite media-set:  watercolor, ink and Prismacolor pencils on thick (off white) watercolor paper!

This is 14" x 20" and it lives right here with me now!

Any buyers?  Name a price!

Quake and Tsunami

(c) 2003 Ralf Schulze

I know, I made this 8 years ago but when I found it in my old portfolio, it immediately jumped out as a painting based on nature's destructive power...and currently the horrible destruction in Japan.
I never really liked this 16" x 20" acrylic paint on paper and don't know why I saved it until now.
