1st of Mr. Suburbia Comic from past!

Mr. Suburbia wrote a long story intended for comicbook format in 1999. I did a few panels but never finished it. recently found my drawings, finished some of them, tweeked them on the computer and will post them here. I already posted some on "Mr.
Suburbia Fan Club" within Facebook. But I'll repost them here.

1992 Illustration

This one was fun.
Probably the last time I ever used zip-a-tone (lips).
title : "714"

Bronze wall hanging by Ralf

I made this bronze wall hanging back in 1988. I do not remember where it is. I might have sold it or gave/traded to a friend. It is about 13 inches high. titled: "At The Beach"

My sculpture of a Turkey

Sculpture from about 1988 in welded Bronze 13 inches tall by Ralf Schulze.

Abstract Video and Sound Experiment.

Made this video a few weeks ago using the paintings of mine I have hanging in the apartment and old noise experiments I did back in late 1980s. Absurd Abstraction distraction. it is only about 2 1/2 min long.

Mr Suburbia CDs in the works!

I'm getting the Original Mr suburbia Tapes transferred to CD.
Here is the new cover (The original cassette box cover will be reproduced inside CD case).

And here is what you need to know! (liner notes):

Originally compiled 21 years ago from various mix-tapes sent from Mr. Suburbia on Long Island to Ralf Schulze in Beacon NY, during the years 1985 to 1988.
This is most of the first Mr. Suburbia release created as a 90 minute tape. These cuts are the first 70+ minutes of the tape. The remaining cuts are available on the second release titled "Life is a Slow Sax Solo"!
Transferred to CD by Ralf Schulze September 2009.
Also available is Mr. Suburbia 3 "Suburban Cocktails" from 1992.
to purchase more copies, or the other CDs email Ralf at: aardvarkf@yahoo.com

Noisy Concept Cover from 1992

I made this cover for a digest sized "chapbook" of articles and rants by Mike Thain of Ohio back in 1992. I really like how it came out and consider it one of my best (I didn't get paid for it, I did it for the exposure). I got married the same year and that pretty much ended my comics and mailart endeavors.
Please take a good look at a larger image by clicking on the pic!

1965 Saul Steinberg New Yorker Cover

I love this collage! From the Ink bottle created from two labels and the LP that's not round and the wonderful "same scene within the scene" feel (Like having 2 opposite mirrors in a room) of the drawing on the upper left of the table. Also the playful cubist sense of the newspaper photo border overlapping the "HMS Beagle" journal. (look at it really close by clicking on it!)
FUN STUFF!

A Favorite

Acrylic and prismacolor pencil on watercolor paper 9 x 12 -- I did this back in 2005 and it has been an inspiration to me since.
When I create an abstract painting I make an effort not to make it look like anything. Everyone will see something in it. Like a large but busy pattern on a floor or wall and when you stare at it you make images appear. Your mind wants to always see something it can make sense out of.

First Post!

Acrylic on Glossy paper 9" x 12"
on facebook I received some good comments and I like how everyone sees something different.
