Pivotal Piece

(c)2002 Ralf Schulze
This is a small (9" x 12") sketch painting in canvas board that actually means a lot to me.
After I moved from Richmond VA back up to NY State (basicly between Binghamton and Oneonta) bac in 2002, I had tons of room to  do art because actaul living space was much cheaper there.
I did this to just experiment with paint again  after many years and some of the experimental decisions were new to what I've done before.  I really like what happened to this.
However, the actual painting got moldy and right now looks like crap.
This is only a 8.5" x 11" scan of it.

  1. It has a hopeful feel to me. Good thing you got that scan since it has got furry.

    OK HW

  2. yeh... it looks bad now, but it still means a lot to me and I am glad I caught that moment back in 2002! HA!
