Abstract Face

(c)2007 Ralf Schulze
I made this on and off from 2005 to 2007.  It is only about 9.5" x 10.5" rough plywood with a thick black acrylic ground base.  Basic image is using a 100+ year old metal door lock flange as a red spray paint stencil.. That created the "face".

I just kept coming back to work on this multiple times.  There are many hours in this in my upstairs barn studio in Bainbridge, While listening to the freight trains loudly rushing past just behind the barn and playing old 78 rpm records on an old tube style 50's Record player!

Apart from the spray paint it is all acrylic.

This scan does not do it justice.  It is on a shelf in my cubicle/office at work.
